Personality: She's a kuudere: cold, emotionless and keeps a blank face. Naturally quiet, obedient, respectful, polite, she acts like a typical model student but without all the discipline (she allows everyone to do what they want as long as no one gets hurt and it has nothing to do with her). She is distant and maintains a professional relationship with everyone rather than a meaningful one. But in fact, deep down, she can be enjoyable and cheerful and fun. She also shows good sportsmanship, plays fair, and admits whether or not she is defeated, showing a non-arrogant side. She was rather sad on how things turned out with the Generation of Miracles and supports Kuroko in his goal to make them love basketball again. Although she gradually began opening up, thanks to Takao, she began to be more outgoing, friendly, and open.
Background: Once the captain and member of the Teikou female basketball club, an incident against the other players caused her to quit the team (but not before she left a meaningful impact on the female basketball world), she became a manager for the male basketball club where she met the Generation of Miracles, Momoi, and Kuroko. It was there that she helped enhanced and strengthen their skills. But when they gradually become stronger and distant apart from each other, she began to distant herself from their new personalities, as to her, they have changed greatly. She also noticed how cold their eyes were and became afraid of them; throughout the resto f her junior high years, she maintained a professional relationship with them. Eventually quitting around their third year after their game with Kuroko's childhood friend, Ogiwara, as she had the last straw, and rejoining the Teikou female basketball club. Soon, in her high school years, from the advice of her long-time friend Takao, she went to Shuutoku, not knowing Midorima went there too.
- Family: Sakamaki Masaki (father); Sakamaki Mariko (mother)
She is an only child and distant from her parents, who lived abroad but rarely sends her messages.
- Generation of Miracles:
Midorima Shintarou: She is somewhat attracted to him and (along with Takao) often points out his tsundere personality. Their relationship improved very much after the Winter Cup and begins to see him as a romantic interest.
Momoi Satsuki: The two are in contact no matter what happened between them and the Miracles during their Teikou days, as the two managers remained close throughout.
Kuroko Tetsuya: They get along really well due to their personality similiarities (frequently blunt and blank-faced). She supports him in his goal of making the Miracles love basketball again. The two weren't really close friends but she was rather observant of him and took her a while of getting used to his lack of presence. She frequently keeps a close, sharp eye on him, and often gives him tips and helps him out in training and enhancing his skills.
Akashi Seijuurou: At first, she is terrified of him and does and agrees to everything he says. She was tense around him but, like all the others, grew used to him. She lost contact with him after Teikou. Their relationship improved after the Winter Cup.
Aomine Daiki: It is known that she has the skills to rival his. The two had an acquaintance relationship until he began getting stronger and changed. She grew to actually hate him but kept in contact with each other, although she rarely contacts him anyway. Their relationship improved after the Winter Cup.
Murasakibara Atsushi: Her first impression of him was "adorable but weird". She is impressed on how much he can eat and admires his skills. She wasn't really close with him but kept in contact with him. Their relationship improved after the Winter Cup.
Kise Ryouta: She found him somewhat gradually incredibly annoying at first, but grew to "get used" to him. The two maintain a respectable friendship even during their high school years. Their relationship improved after the Winter Cup.
- Shuutoku Team:
Takao Kazunari: She is a long-time close friend of his. People could say that he was her only friend until she began opening up to others. Their relationship somewhat mirrors Aomine and Momoi's.
- Seirin Team: She maintains a good relationship with them, admiring Kagami and Kuroko's play, and is close friends with their coach, Aida Riko, often hanging out with her, trading stories of their respective teams, and creating training regimen together to improve.
